UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA ST. PETERSBURG
Photographing a campus as unique as USF St. Petersburg, a prestigious university experience on the bay that feels like a small college, can be challenging in the heat of mid-July. For a recent rebranding and admissions marketing shoot to update print materials and showcase the new student center, we opted for an early call for students and we used small hand-held strobes to fill shadows.
Unlike the work that I recently completed for the University of the Tampa, which I mentioned in last week's blog post, this shoot was scouted well in advance with a tight timeline of choreographed images for advertising and marketing efforts. Splitting a full day of shooting into two half-days proved to be a forgiving way of managing the heat while still capturing a variety of images that are now being used to promote USF St. Petersburg. Below are a few highlights, a credit to the hard work of the Enrollment Services team of Holly Kickliter, Serge Desir and Scarlett Schiraldi.
